About Marian
Marian has always been passionate about flowers and all things creative. She worked with dried flowers and instructed the art to friends and colleagues during her years living in Northern Italy.
She worked briefly with wooden flowers, exhibiting at Earls Court; all of this was long before using fresh flowers. She has also taken courses in photography and interior design.
But it was really her marriage to husband Bob that inspired her to take up the floristry profession seriously. “The Grand Hotel, where the ceremony and reception took place, is always full of beautiful arrangements, the florists coming in regularly to change them and care for them, and I decided there and then that this was what I wanted to do”.
Marian is now completing her second year of a City and Guilds Design and Craft Floristry course, and will venture into a third and fourth year to broaden her knowledge and learn more of the history and art of floristry.
Whatever the occasion, Marian will create you a fitting bouquet or arrangement, using seasonal flowers, colour co-ordinated to your needs.
Her hand-tied and presentation bouquets are all beautifully wrapped in cellophane with co-ordinated ribbon and a complimentary gift card with your hand-written message included, if required.
Marian encourages her customers to discuss their requirements in detail so that she can create a unique and personalised bouquet or arrangement.
